Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Hey, I’m Tom — the guy running sbiterminsurance.com. This blog is my personal project, born out of being an actual SBI Life Insurance customer who went through the ups and downs of buying and managing a term plan like eShield Next. I’m not a company, not an agent, and definitely not selling anything. I’m just a regular person sharing what I’ve learned, messed up, or figured out, hoping it helps someone like you who’s trying to make sense of term insurance.
These “Terms and Conditions” are here to keep things clear between us. I’m keeping it simple, real, and in my own words — no legal jargon nonsense.
1. This Blog Is My Personal Experience, Not a Rulebook
Everything on this blog comes straight from my journey as an SBI Life policyholder. Every post is written by me, based on:
- What I went through buying and managing my term plan.
- My struggles with the YONO app, documents, or rider options.
- My real-life moments, like dealing with a claim process for a relative.
This isn’t financial advice, legal advice, or an official guide. It’s just me saying, “Here’s what happened when I did this.” Please don’t treat it as the final word for your decisions. Always double-check with SBI Life’s official website or talk to a qualified advisor before taking any big steps with your insurance.
2. Things Change, and I’m Just One Guy
I do my best to keep this blog accurate, but insurance is tricky — policies, app features, and rules can change fast. I’m not a team with daily updates; I’m just Mahesh, writing when I can. If SBI Life tweaks their YONO app or updates rider terms, my posts might not catch it right away.
So, always verify info with SBI Life’s official site or customer care. What I write reflects what I knew at the time, based on my experience.
3. External Links Are for Reference
Sometimes, I link to stuff that helped me, like:
- SBI Life’s official product pages or FAQs.
- IRDAI or RBI websites for general insurance info.
- A blog, forum, or video I found useful.
These links are just for extra context. I don’t control those websites, and I’m not responsible if they change, go offline, or have outdated info. Click them at your own discretion.
4. Comments: Let’s Keep It Real
I love hearing from you! Feel free to comment on my posts — ask questions, share your own SBI Life experiences, or tell me I got something wrong. But a few ground rules:
- No spam (like random ads or unrelated links).
- No abusive or rude comments (to me or anyone else).
- Keep it genuine and relevant.
If your comment is real, I’ll do my best to reply when I can. If it’s spammy or mean, I’ll delete it. That’s just how it goes.
5. Don’t Copy My Work
I put a lot of time into writing this blog — every word comes from my own experiences, mistakes, and late-night Google sessions. Feel free to:
- Share a link to my blog or posts.
- Quote a few lines (just give credit to sbiterminsurance.com).
But please don’t:
- Copy entire posts or big chunks of my writing.
- Use my content on your own blog, YouTube, or anywhere else without permission.
- Pass off my work as your own.
If you want to use something substantial from my blog, just reach out via the contact form. I’m pretty easygoing and happy to chat.
6. I Might Update This Page
These terms might change down the line as the blog grows or if I need to clarify something. I’ll always keep it in my voice — no corporate mumbo-jumbo — and I’ll let you know if there’s a big update.
7. Want to Reach Me?
I’m not some faceless company. I’m Tom, a salaried guy who bought a term plan and started blogging about it. If you have questions, want to share your own story, or need me to cover something specific, use the contact form on the blog or drop a comment on a post. I’ll get back to you when I can, based on what I know as a fellow customer.
That’s It
No tricks, no hidden agendas. This blog is just me trying to make SBI Life’s term insurance process a little less confusing for you. Thanks for reading and trusting my story. I hope it helps you navigate your own insurance journey.
